Bhagavad Gita 5.16: Verse 16
ज्ञानेन तु तदज्ञानं येषां नाशितमात्मनः ।
तेषामादित्यवज्ज्ञानं प्रकाशयति तत्परम् ॥5.16॥
भावार्थ - Gist
परन्तु जिनका वह अज्ञान परमात्मा के तत्व ज्ञान द्वारा नष्ट कर दिया गया है, उनका वह ज्ञान सूर्य के सदृश उस सच्चिदानन्दघन परमात्मा को प्रकाशित कर देता है॥5.16॥
However, those who have destroyed that ignorance by their knowledge, find that that powerful knowledge lights up the highest Divine Entity, the Supreme Almighty Lord like the sun.
व्याख्या - Explanation
सूर्य के उदय होने पर कोई नयी वस्तु निर्मित नहीं होती, अपितु वह, जो नहीं दिख रही थी, दिखने लग जाती है। इसी प्रकार भगवान् स्वतः सिद्ध हैं, परन्तु अज्ञान के कारण उनका अनुभव नहीं होता। विवेक के द्वारा अज्ञान का नाश होने से स्वतःसिद्ध परमतत्त्व अनुभव होने लग जाता है।
It is not that new objects are created on the rising of the sun, but in the light of the sun those objects which were earlier invisible become clearly defined. Similarly, through the effect of ignorance, the Supreme Lord who is always present within us, is not perceptible to us. However with the removal of ignorance through the intellect, that omniscient God emerges into our experience.
