Beyond the Horizon
Shriman Bhupendra Tayal, Founder Acharya of Lord Jagannath Charitable Trust, Jaipur, with his hectic schedule of Gita Teaching and Promotion, never rested on his laurels but was forever exploring new horizons to extend the reach of his Gita Program.
While his Program of Gita Teaching forged ahead with amazing success in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bauli, Ahmedabad and Lucknow, Guruji was contemplating a larger vision–an English Language Gita Course to include Gita aspirants across the length and breadth of India.
The essential pre-requisite for such a Course would be a textbook in English. Guruji, with his practical outlook, was keenly aware of this need.
The textbook for his ongoing Gita Course, Srimadbhagwadgita Bhavarth, had been an instant success and was by now the beloved golden textbook of the Gita Program in Hindi.
As a decisive step towards his vision of an All-India Gitaclass in English, Guruji commissioned the translation of his Bhavarth into English.
It was to be the cornerstone of his projected Online Gitaclass in English, created for the benefit of English-speaking Krishna devotees and young people who frequently expressed the need for an English textbook with which they could relate.
The result of three years of dedicated and selfless work by one of Guruji’s students is the English rendition of Bhagwadgita Bhavarth in English with its new title—
“The Song of the Blue Wizard”.
This work stands as Guruji’s enduring legacy for Gita lovers whose preferred language is English.Through it, Krishna’s life lessons are now finally accessible to all English-speaking seekers of the Bhagwad Gita.
