Bhagavad Gita 2.59

भावार्थ - Gist

इन्द्रियों द्वारा विषयों को ग्रहण न करने वाले पुरुष के भी केवल विषय तो निवृत्त हो जाते हैं, परन्तु उनमें रहने वाली आसक्ति निवृत्त नहीं होती। इस स्थितप्रज्ञ पुरुष की तो आसक्ति भी परमात्मा का साक्षात्कार करके निवृत्त हो जाती है॥2.59॥

The man who refrains from eating (having withdrawn senses from objects) liberates himself from sense objects but is still bound by the inner desire for sense gratification remains.(But) only the realization of the Supreme Divinity (Parmeshwar) can set him free from such inclination ( also).
