Bhagavad Gita 17.23: Verse 23
तत्सदिति निर्देशो ब्रह्मणस्त्रिविधः स्मृतः।
ब्राह्मणास्तेन वेदाश्च यज्ञाश्च विहिताः पुरा।।17.23।।
भावार्थ - Gist
ॐ, तत्, सत्-ऐसे यह तीन प्रकार का सच्चिदानन्दघन ब्रह्म का नाम कहा है, उसी से सृष्टि के आदिकाल में ब्राह्मण और वेद तथा यज्ञादि रचे गए ৷৷17.23॥
“Om”, “Tat”, “Sat”, this is considered as the threefold indication of the Supreme Divine Entity (Brahma). In the dawn of creation, this Supreme Divinty created the Brahmins who accompanied their chanting of Vedic hymns and performance of sacrifices with these three names.
व्याख्या - Explanation
ऊँ, तत् और सत्- यह तीन प्रकार का ईश्वर का निर्देश है अर्थात् ईश्वर के तीन नाम हैं। उस ईश्वर ने सृष्टि के आरम्भ में वेदों, ब्राह्मणों और यज्ञों को बनाया। इन तीनों में विधि बताने वाले वेद हैं, अनुष्ठान करने वाले ब्राह्मण हैं और क्रिया करने के लिये यज्ञ हैं।
