Bhagavad Gita 14.27: Verse 27
ब्रह्मणो हि प्रतिष्ठाऽहममृतस्याव्ययस्य च।
शाश्वतस्य च धर्मस्य सुखस्यैकान्तिकस्य च।।14.27।
भावार्थ - Gist
उस अविनाशी ब्रह्म-पद का मैं ही अमृत स्वरूप, शाश्वत स्वरूप, धर्म स्वरूप और परम-आनन्द स्वरूप एक-मात्र आश्रय हूँ।।14.27।
I am the sanctum of Brahma (Unmanifest Supreme Divinity), of Imperishable nectar of life, of Divine Laws or righteousness and of the undefinable, unique and ultimate Divine bliss.
व्याख्या - Explanation
मैं ब्रह्म का आश्रय हूँ- ऐसा कहने का तात्पर्य ब्रह्म से अपनी अभिन्नता बताने में है। कृष्ण साकार-रूप से हैं और ब्रह्म निराकार रूप से है। ज्ञान की दृष्टि से ब्रह्म है, और भक्त की दृष्टि से भगवान्, पर तत्त्वतः ब्रह्म भगवान् का ही एक रूप है।
By saying that “ I am the sanctum of Brahma” Krishna’s purpose is to indicate His essential unity with Brahma. Krishna is in Manifest form with Attributes, while Brahma is Unmanifest and Attributeless. From the perspective of knowledge, God is Brahma and from the devotee’s angle of vision God is Krishna/Rama/Vishnu; but in essence Brahma is a dimension of God in His Manifest Form.
