Bhagavad Gita 16.19

1) अब कृष्ण आसुरी सम्पदा के विषय का इन दो श्लोकों में उपसंहार करते हुए कहते हैं कि ऐसे मनुष्य बिना कारण ही सबसे वैर रखते हैं। उनके कर्म बड़े क्रूर होते हैं, उनके द्वारा दूसरों की हिंसा आदि हुआ करती है। ऐसे मनुष्यों को कृष्ण उनके स्वभाव के अनुसार आसुरी योनि देते हैं।
(2) यद्यपि वे कृष्ण से द्वेष करते हैं, तथापि कृष्ण का उन क्रूर, निर्दयी मनुष्यों से भी अपनापन रहता है। साधारण मनुष्य जिससे अपनापन करते हैं, उसे लौकिक सुख में फँसा देते हैं, परन्तु कृष्ण जिससे अपनापन करते हैं, उसको शुद्ध बनाने के लिये प्रतिकूल परिस्थिति भेजते हैं, जिससे वे सदा के लिये सुखी हो जायँ, उनका उद्धार हो जाये, अतः उनके पाप दूर करने के लिये आसुरी योनि में भेजते हैं।

1. Here Krishna, concluding the subject of demoniac nature in these two verses says that such men harbour enmity towards every one without any cause. Their actions are extremely cruel, causing violence towards others. Krishna sends them into demoniac births according to their nature.
2. Even though these persons hate Krishna, still Krishna does not break the bond of close relationship with them. Ordinary men bind the ones whom they love into the snares of worldly pleasures; but Krishna, loving even His wicked creatures, sends them adverse circumstances to cleanse them of evil, so that they attain lasting happiness and salvation.
